I wanted to write and thank you for developing and sharing Fibro-Aid with me. I started the recommended 3 capsules a day about a month ago and what a difference it has made. My knees no longer ache and stairs are easy to climb for the first time in years. I've had relief in my lower back and shoulders as well. I truly believe that everyone taking guai for the reversal of fibromyalgia needs to be on the Fibro-aid as well. It seemed to speed up my recovery!

I am a 41 year old woman that has had fibromyalgia for nearly twenty years. For most of my adult life this condition has continuously kept me searching for answers. About two years ago I was led to a remarkable book written by Dr. R. Paul St. Amand, titled "What your doctor may not tell you about Fibromyalgia." Believing in his book, I immediately started to implement the "no salicylate" diet, but found my condition too severe to start the guaifenesin treatment. Recently while searching the Web I came across the Health Products Web site and decided to call in order to get guaifenesin for my daughter who also has Fibromyalgia. When calling to place my order, I spoke with Dave who was great on educating me about other salicylate free products he had developed. Fibro- Aid was the support I needed in order to help me start the guafenesin and the results have been remarkable ever since. Fibro-Aid allows me to be pain free and lead my normal daily routine though the muscle relief it provides. I now feel as if I can truly regain the quality of life I have missed for so many years. Several people have asked me lately about where to get OTC Guaifenesin. I order mine on the Internet from Health Products Express. They have a wide variety of doses available. Since my dose is 800mg, the 400's are perfect for me, plus they are dye-free (I'm allergic to blue dye). Dave Rubitsky, the pharmacist, says that some timed-release products can fail to dissolve, build up in the system, and cause people to take higher than necessary doses. This may explain why some people find one brand of guai to be more potent than another. I also like to use the 400mg tablets which can be broken in half when I want to up my dose. I understand that Health Products Express also has some salicylate-free products. I'm trying to talk Dave into stocking Grace "Fibro-Smile" products. Sue, Seattle,

Very good results for IBS. Chronic IBS symptoms relieved. My constant joint pain, and achiness from Fibromyalgia is gone. I find it easy to avoid "sals" in products due to my allergies to most plants and foods- I had already omitted these from my cosmetics. My medical doctors had already prescribed this to thin the mucous occuring with allergies. I found the purity of the Guai Aid product a plus. Dave at Health Products Express has been very forthcoming in checking on ingredients due to my severe allergies. Dr. St. Amand's book and website on this protocal was very helpful in outlining the steps, offering support, and answering questions. Almost 2 years on Guai Aid it costs me about $8 month when purchased in quantity.

Your product is working fine. I guess all of these years the vanilla was sufficient in higher doses to either slowly lower the potency of guaifenesin or slip in a bit too much salicylate. It's always possible that the maltodextrin somewhat affected potency after a few months. At any rate, removing those seems to have made a difference whatever the reason.
